The Zamboanga City Police Office has formed the City Advisory Council (CAC), a team that will assist in the implementation of the PNP Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System (PNP-ITP-PCS) otherwise known as the P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan of 2030.

Acting City Police Director Sr. Supt. Angelito Casimiro disclosed that the CAC is a multi-sectoral group replicated from the Multi-Sectoral Governance Council which is the National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development.

The council is composed of Rev. Fr. Jeff Taib, CAC chairman and representing the academe, Engr. Rodrigo Sicat from the government sector, Mr. Atilano Alabata from the private sector, Rev. Fr. Michael Ufana and Amirsab Ismael Taupan from the religious sector, Mr. Eduardo Chua from the business group and a television reporter from the media sector.

The council, which is advisory in nature, shall also aid in pinpointing gaps in police operation and make recommendation to address these issues.
