30 Zambo boy scouts complete 3-day traffic, pedestrian control course PDF Print E-mail

Thirty members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP)-Zamboanga City chapter completed a three-day Traffic Assistance and Pedestrian Control Course in this city.

BSP-Zamboanga Chapter Scout Executive Arthur Griño said Saturday that the three-day Course is part of their summer scouting activity.

Griño said the course started Wednesday and completed Friday. He said Boy Scouts are deployed in the streets of the city to direct traffic and assists pedestrians.

Meanwhile, he said some of the Boy Scouts are also undergoing training on basic firemanship, first aid and basic life support, and disaster preparedness.

He said these Boy Scouts will earn merit badges for each course they will undergo and complete.

He said the trainings are part of the process for them to reach the rank of Eagle Scout.
