EarthSoul Solutions launches weekly program over DXXX PDF Print E-mail

EarthSoul Solutions, Inc., an NGO that advocates among others giving access to farmers and other communities organic farming and organic aqua culture technologies, launches a weekly one-hour radio program over RPN’s DXXX starting on Saturday, May 17, 2014.

Dubbed as “Konsensya sa Kalikasan”, the radio program will have as principal guest/ resource person during its maiden broadcast Dr. Francisco “ Frank” dela Peña, National Chairman of the Farm Tourism Movement of the Philippines and President/CEO of four Aces Polytechnic Colleges strategically built in four areas in the Davao region. The maiden broadcast will also feature Mr. Ibno “lbs” Turabin, Chairman of EarthSoul Solutions, Inc.

The radio program, hosted by veteran broadcast and print journalist-turned-entrepreneur Rudy Saavedra, will have a live question and answer segment between the featured resource persons and other featured guests and the radio listeners. This means radio listeners can either phone in or send their questions via text during the program. Dan Lorenzo, a local community leader and an advocate of organic farming as well, will co-host the program.

The same radio program has been launched in GenSan, Saranggani (over the Roman Catholic- run DXCP) and in Davao City ( over 101.9 FM Radyo-TV 5 Happy Network). “Konsensya sa Kalikasan” will also be launched in a Bukidnon radio station and also in Butuan, according to lbs Turabin.

“We aim to reach out to the people of Mindanao island with our advocacies through this radio programs aired in strategic cities with the ultimate goal of making communites self-sufficient by producing food the natural way,” Turabin emphasized.

The radio program in Davao City is hosted by Councilor Leo “Happy LA” Avila and Dr. Frank dela Peña. Ed Cejar and Nene Saguiguit, handles the Gensan radio program.

Dr. Frank dela Peña is one of the country’s sought-after resource person on organic farming ,aqua culture, livestock raising and other related advocacies and technologies.
