A native of Mabuhay town, Zamboanga Sibugay, was shot to death in broad daylight by a gunman inside a fastfood eatery in Canelar yesterday morning.

Several minutes after the gunslaying, police recovered the getaway car of the gunman along Gov. Camins Avenue.

Andan Gadjali, a native of Barangay Caliran, Mabuhay municipality, sustained a bullet wound in the body and was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

A police report disclosed that Gadjali was taking his meal inside MS Store and Fastfood at the junction of Canelar road abd Moret when a gunman armed with a Super .38 pistol appeared and pumped a bullet into his head at close range.

The gunman left the place aboard a car that sped towards Gov. Camins Avenue.

Policemen recovered a spent shell of Super .38 pistol outside the door of the store where Gadjali was shot.

Few minutes later, policemen found the getaway car with plate number TJA 259 fronting Rams Beer Garden along Gov. Camins Avenue

Police noticed that the right front tire of the car was flat which could be the reason why it was abandoned along the road.

Upon inspection of the car, policemen recovered documents of the vehicle showing the name Farsad Sabban as its owner.

Also recovered from the car were several call cards of Farzad Sabban with his position as Sales Consultant of the Hyundai Zamboanga City and a holster of an unknown pistol.

Police gathered that Sabban is a resident of Guiwan but when they swooped down on his  residence, he was nowhere to be found.
