Two teenagers were stabbed and seriously wounded in separate incidents in Mangusu and Recodo the other day.

Jenelyn Natividad y Bayloses, 17, single, and a resident of Mangusu was stabbed and wounded by her stepfather identified as Roger Patonggo y Apolinario last Saturday morning.

Natividad was stabbed inside a videoke bar around 8:55 p.m.

Police said she sustained a stab wound in the arm and was rushed to the Vitali Lying-in-Clinic for medical attention and was later was transferred to the Zamboanga City Medical Center.

Patonggo was arrested and was taken to the police station for filing of charges in court.

Hammodi Singkay Lawan, 15, of Purok 5A, Recodo, was stabbed and wounded by Marsarip Loring Mahadani, 13, of Puppin Drive, Recodo, last Saturday morning.

He sustained stab wounds in the back and on the leg. He was rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center.

Investigation disclosed that Lawan and some unidentified companions allegedly mauled Marsarip Loring Mahadani that prompted the latter to run to his friend’s house where he armed himself against his attackers who was at that time running after him.

A fight ensued between them that resulted in the stabbing. The case was referred to Office of the Barangay Council in Recodo for mediation on the civil liability of parents. – Dan Toribio Jr.
