New equipment soon to arrive for Region 9 police PDF Print E-mail

Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Edgar O. Basbas yesterday disclosed that there will be an arrival soon of new equipment for the policemen in the region.

Basbas said the equipment is part of a continuing program  of the PNP in Camp Crame to make policemen effective in their tasks and mission as law enforcers..

He said among the equipment that will arrive are computers with peripherals for police stations, pistols, patrol cars in addition to the construction of police buildings.

“Very recently a KIA back to back car for police patrol has arrived.. The continuing arrival of equipment  for  law enforcement and police works is part of the modernization program of the Philippine National Police,”Basbas said.

He said that the support of the people and each community in the region is a very important factor to make the police successful in combatting lawlessness and criminalities.

“When people give information to the police on suspicious persons in their  area, it is really a big help in solving crimes,” said the new police regional director. —   Allen Abastillas
