HPG-9 recovers another stolen motorcycle PDF Print E-mail

Another stolen motorcycle was recovered by Highway Patrol Group-9 operatives during the weekend.

Sr. Supt. Severino B. Agustin, HPG-9 chief  described the recovered motorcycle as a red-black Suzuki Shogun  with plate number 6983 PE under Land Transportation Office file number 136400000075248 with Rogi Singh of Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.as the registered owner

SPO1 Wilfredo Ator said the driver of the Suzuki Shogun applied for a shipment clearance for him to take the unit to Jolo, Sulu during the weekend. When Ator verified with the HPG  Motorvehicle Information Manangement System (MVIMS) that is internet linked nationwide, it was found out the unit was forcible taken in Dalion St., Quezon City on December 12, 2008. The said motorcycle is under the status of wanted/ stolen motorcycle under alarm number 2009 – 0326 – 023.

After learning from Ator about the recovery of the unit,  Agustin directed Insp. Mervin Claret and  PO1 Benhaider Bello to conduct further investigation and coordinate with the Police Regional Office 9-Crime Laboratory Unit for the macro- etching examination and send an accomplishment report to Camp Crame. — Allen Abastillas
