Over100 young basketball enthusiasts have already registered for the Milo’s 22nd Best Basketball Clinic, the most prestigious cage clinic in the country, scheduled on April 25 to April 30 at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University multi-purpose covered court.

Milo’s Best Basketball Clinic offers the lowest rate compared to other new cage clinics.
Milo-Best Zamboanga City franchisee Pedro “Pete” Alfaro Jr., a former PBA player, explained that the prestigious basketball clinic will focus on the various and latest basketball skills and techniques designed for young budding cagers.

District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian, who has been supporting the Best Clinic for 20 years now, will grace the opening the 22th clinic at the ADZU covered court.  

The clinic will involve levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.  Registration will P2,300  which will entitle a participant to one free t-shirt. It will also offer introduction to basketball for ages nine years old and below for a registration of P2,800. It has the best and complete equipment guaranteed to train young kids on basketball techniques.

Best Basketball Clinic is the only basketball organization that has basketball  tournament for kids below 12 and 14 years.

The Best Center of Milo takes pride in its line-up of experienced and well-trained mentors. Aside from their basketball experience, these mentors and coaches are equipped not just fundamentally, but more important, emotionally and mentally, to handle the task of working with children and teaching them the right values along with the skills and fundamentals of the game.

Children with year born 1999, 2000 and 2001 who enrolled in the Best cage clinic can qualify for the Batang PBA to be held by the Samahang Basketbolista na Pilipinas on the first week of May.

Among the many successfull players who are graduates of Milo-Best Basketball Clinic are Chris Tiu, star player of the Ateneo de Manila varsity team, TY Tang of Rain or Shine and ex La Salle star, Zamboangueños Jens Kneutell of Sta. Maria  now playing with the FEU team, Michael Tolomia of the  FEU varsity team, RR Garcia, Most Valuable Player, UAAP 2010 and Al Amin formerly of the San Beda Juniors. Veteran and retired PBA players who had also participated in the Milo-Best clinic were Alvin Patrimonio, Zandro Limpot and Benjie Paras.

The Best Clinic is in preparation for the Milo-Best tournaments held from local, regional to national level.
The National Finals for SBP-Passerell Tournament will be held here in November.

Alfaro said the tournament in local level will be held in August-September period, while the regional competition is set on October.
