Man, 64, dies in Sinunuc road mishap PDF Print E-mail

A 64-year-old man died after he was accidentally bumped by a passenger jeepney in Sinunuc the other night.

The fatality was identified as Arajal Eraji y Abduhalim, married, of Purok 2, Sinunuc. He expired while undergoing medication at a private hospital.

Initial investigation disclosed that the jeepney driven by Jul Jarani y Jumdani, 19, single, was coming from the city proper heading west when Eraji crossed the highway in Sinunuc resulting in the accident.

One of the jeepney passengers identified asAkiro Toda y Bejerano, 17, sustained minor injuries in the body during the accident.

Eraji sustained multiple injuries in the body and was rushed to the hospital for treatment but physicians declared him dead while undergoing medication.

Jarani surrendered to the police and was detained for further investigation. – Dan Toribio Jr.
