Security guard disarmed, robbed by holduppers PDF Print E-mail

A security guard detailed in a business establishment in Baliwasan Seaside was disarmed and robbed by three men at dawn last Tuesday.

Police identified the victim as Ariel Libores y Diacomo, 18, single, of the Ribusa Security Agency and detailed at Arvin International.

Initial investigation disclosed that Libores was sleeping in his post around 2:20 a.m. when three men armed with a handgun and blade weapons appeared and announced a heist.

One of the thrree holduppers armed with a handgun pointed a gun on Libores’ body while the two others hogtied him and covered his face with a handkerchief.

Police said the holduppers took the guard’s issued 9mm pistol and a Samsung cellphone then fled.

Libores told the police that when the holduppers left the place he was able to remove the handkerchief from his face and screamed for help.

Libores’ loud scream was heard by one of the stay-in employees identified as Lucio Monares who untied him.
