Police strengthen peacekeeping operations in Zambo barangays PDF Print E-mail

Insp. Joey A. Montenegro, chief of the the Zamboanga City Police Office’s Station 11 Police Community Relation. said yesterday his unit will conduct a series of  police visitations and dialogues with officials of   Barangay Zone 1, 2,3, IV, Sta. Catalina, Rio Hondo and Sta. Barbara.

The  activity is intended to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the Barangay Peacekeeping Operations ( BPO ) and the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT).

According to Montenegro, his unit will also conduct an assessment on how BPAT conduct their mobilization and utilization under the support of the local government unit for barangay peacekeeping operations.

Police Station 11 PCR Office will also determine if  barangay peacekeeping operations encounter problems in their activities.

The series of visitations and dialogues was directed OIC City Police Director Sr. Supt. Angelito Casimiro under ZCPOPCRB 04-07-28-2014 to all police stations of Zamboanga City. The assessment report will be submitted to the Police Regional Office-9. — Allen Abastillas
