Officials from the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Research Center based in San Ramon has expressed profound gratitude to former mayor and now District 1 Congressman Celso Lobregat for supporting the plans and programs of the agency through implementation of infrastructure projects.

Specifically, PCA-RC Department Manager (OIC) Luisito Peñorama cited Lobregat’s support through the road concreting project which began during the latter’s term as city mayor.

The PCA official recognized the congressman during ceremonies marking the PCA’s 41st founding anniversary and inauguration of the new main gate in San Ramon recently. Lobregat graced the event  together with Mayor Beng Climaco, represented by City Agriculturist Diosdado Palacat.

Peñorama said the road concreting project provides better access and makes travel for visitors, guests and most particularly PCA employees to the area more convenient.

The project, he emphasized, led to employees’ extra satisfactory performance.

The road project, undertaken by LL Construction, measured 5 meters in width and 345 meters in length. It cost P2 million.
