An Indian national engaging in money lending business was shot dead with a bullet wound in the body along Tumaga-Lunzuran road last Sunday night.

Chief Insp. Mark Azur, Divisoria Police Station chief, identified the fatality as Ran Jeet Singh, a temporary resident of Tetuan.

Azur said Singh’s body was recovered around 10:35 p.m. near Filinvest Subdivision.

Ocular invetsigation appeared that the victim died of a bullet wound in the temple.

Investigators recovered a snub-nose type .38 revolver with a spent shell inside the cylinder and a Honda  XRM motoryclce near the Singh’s body.

Azur said that based on investigation, the killer did not take the victim’s money and motorcycle.
