Bolo-wielding intruder robs house in Luyahan PDF Print E-mail

A man armed with a bolo broke into a house in Shanty Town Luyahan, Pasonanca at noon yesterday and restrained the occupants with packing tape before fleeing with a motorcycle and other valuables belonging to the house owner..

A report from Sta. Maria Police Station disclosed that Juliet Panollera, her 4-year-old son and their housemaid were inside their house when Gerald Saavedra, a resident of Recodo suddenly arrived and restrained them with packing tape.

Saavedra then took the victims’ cash amounting to P2,500, a cell phone and the ignition key to their motorcycle.

Police said that Saavedra started the motorcycle which was at that time parked the victims’ neighbor’s  place then drove away.

Policemen invited to the Sta. Maria Police a resident of Luyahan who told the police the identity of Saavedra who is known to him.

Police were still on follow-up operations for the arrest of Saavedra. — Dan Toribio Jr.
