Abducted in Oroquieta, girl recovered in Zambo PDF Print E-mail

An 18-year-old lass who was reported to have abducted in Oroquieta City last July 7 was recovered in Barangay Ayala, this city Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Lyka Noblefranca y Aguk, single, a student and a native of Lower Langcagan, Oroquieta City.

A sketchy police report disclosed that Lyka was seized in their hometown on July 7 and was brought to Zamboanga City.

men of the Ayala Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Karib Abud Muharram were conducting mobile patrol in their areas of jurisdiction when they received report around 3:42 p.m. Wednesday that an alleged kidnap victim was seen at Calle Cawayan, Dumagsa.

Acting on the information, Muharram and his men swooped down on the place and found Lyka. She was taken to the Ayala Police Station for debriefing and later underwent medical check-up.

Lyka told the police that she was raped by her captors during the two-weekcaptivity.
