BIR RR 15 exceeds Sept. collection goal PDF Print E-mail

BIR Revenue Region No. 15-Zamboanga City collected P226,490,963 for the month of September, 2010, with  an excess of P9,005,963 or 4.14% over its goal of P217,485,000  and  increased its actual collection by P15,496,321.48 or 7.34% for the same month.

The cumulative collection from January to September,  2010  of  P2,156,212,273.55 exceeded  its  target of P2,040,050,000 by P116,162,273.55 or 5.69%  and increased  its  actual collection by P327,271,485.34 or 17.89% compared to  last year’s  collection.

The top performers for the month of September, 2010 were RDO Monib M. Dimakuta, No. 93B-Zamboanga  Sibugay  for collecting  P 21, 278,441.76  marking an increase  of P 3,424,004.29, followed by  RDO Alejandro  T. Polca,  RDO#91-Dipolog City which  collected  P 46,550,649.47, having an  increase of  P 9,354,792.82 and RDO Jefferson M. Lajarani, RDO No. 96, Bongao,  Tawi-Tawi  which  collected   P2,382,440.59 . 

BIR Regional Director Rozil R. Lozares congratulated all seven Revenue District Officers for achieving their respective collection goals for September, 2010. While he recognized the good performances of all RDOs,  he also reminded them that there are still three remaining crucial months which could either make or break this Region. 

He said:"We have closed the last nine months of the year with 'breath-taking' efforts,  we   must hold on to the end with an excellent performance."
