Two men in Tugbungan shooting fall PDF Print E-mail

Police have arrested the two gunmen who shot and wounded a 37-year-old man in Barigon, Tugbungan before noon last Monday.

The suspects were identified as Joseph Rodriguez y Lizama, 34, married, and Joey Banaag y Enriquez, 35, single. They were arrested during a follow-up operation in Sto. Niño, San Jose.

A police report disclosed that Rodriguez and Banaag were tagged as the gunmen who shot and wounded Arnel Dela Peña, 37, of Purok 8, Tugbungan last Monday around 11:45 a.m.
Rodriguez and Banaag were nabbed at the house of  Tomas Jimenez in Sto. Niño.

They were taken to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for paraffin test and were later detained at the Tetuan Police Station pending the filing of charges against them in court.

Dela Peña was walking along Barigon, Tugbungan last Monday when two men shot him in the chest.
