Men of the Lamitan City Police Station, backed up by other police forces, raided yesterday a house in Lamitan where they seized five plastic sachets of shabu and arrested eight drug suspects.

Lamitan City police chief Sr. Insp. Gean Gallardo, the raid was carried out around 11 a.m. at the house of Haydam Sangkula at Sitio Tinambakan, Barangay Maganda on the strength of a search warrant  issued by Judge Leo .Principe

During the operation,  eight persons were rounded up. Six of them were identified as Alayda Arabi, Nadin Hood, Serham Sanan, Gafur Pingli, Muamar Ismael and Nurhida Abbani.

Aside from the five plastic sachets of shabu, the raiders recovered a laptop computer, an android tablet, a weighing scale, P2770 in cash, digicam, two blade weapons and five cigarette lighters.
