1 dead, 1 wounded in Tumaga gun attack PDF Print E-mail

A resident of Mampang was killed, while a woman was hit by a stray bullet in a gun attack at Tumaga Plaza along Tumaga-Putik road Tuesday afternoon.

The fatality was identified as Abdulwahab Ayub y Mohammad, 50, married. Wounded was Nurmina Ismael, 21, married, of Tumaga.

Ismael suffered a bullet wound on the left leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

A police report disclosed that Ayub was at the vicinity of Tumaga Plaza around 3:15 p.m. when two men riding tandem on a Honda Wave motorcycle appeared and the backrider opened fire on him several times.

Ismael happened to be at the shooting scene where a stray bullet hit her.

The killers sped away after their target slumped on the ground.

Ayub sustained multiple bullets wounds in the body and died on the spot. Recovered at the crime scene were four spent shells of .45 caliber pistol.
