The Land Transportation Office 9’s Zamboanga City District Office has warned owners of motorvehicles with obscure plate number to remove them because it is violation of the Traffic Code.

LTO District Officer Noel M. Noche said that the plate number of motorvehicles should be visible and easy to be noticed by the people and especially by law enforcers.

Noche said the penalty and fine for an obscure plate number is P1,078.

Noche advised motorvehicle owners  to follow the Traffice Code so that they will not suffer from inconvenience and unnecessary  expenses.

Following the traffic law is a precaution and prevention against committing offense and paying fines, Noche pointed out.

He also advised motorvehicle owners with no issued plate number to ask authority from LTO to use a temporary plate number and never to allow their units to run on city roads without an authorized temporary plate number. —  Allen Abastillas
