Four games will formally usher in this morning, this year’s Best Center SBP and Passerelle Twin Basketball tournament at the Mayor VitalianoAgan Memorial Coliseum in Tetuan.

Sponsored by Milo Nestle Philippines, the games get going after a short opening program with Acting City Schools Superintendent Pedro MelchorNatividad as Guest of honour and speaker.

Opening hostilities will pit defending champion WMSU in SBP A action, to be followed by the match between Bethany School against Saint Joseph School in SBP-B.

These will be followed by the game between J-Jireh School against Bethany School in Pass A and the match between Claret Team B versus ZCHS Main in Pass B.

The complete roster of participating teams  from SBP A are, Defending chapions WMSU, Pilar College, Ferndale International School, Zion Evangelical School and ICAS while grouped in SBP B are teams from Bethany Child development Center, Saint Joseph School, Zamboanga Chong Hua School and Claret School of Zamboanga.

Entered in Pass A are outfits from Claret School Of Zamboanga as defending champions, Ferndale International School,  Zamboanga Chong Hua School,  J-Jireh School, and Bethany Child Development Center and Saint Joseph School.

And then entered in Pass B, are Southern City Colleges, WMSU, Zion Evangelical School, PilarCollege ,Zamboanga City High School Main and Claret School Team B.

Pedro Alfaro Jr. SBP Area head/Trustee and Best Franchise holder will declare the games open.

Best Center Twin Basketball tourney follows the summer basketball clinics where aspiring young basketeerslearn the scientific rudiments of basketball under the trained eye and expertise of coaches flown in each summer from Manila through Nic Jorge, the original national franchise holder of the Best Center Clinics nationwide.
