Robbers ransacked a vehicle parked inside the Metropolitan Cathedral  of the Immaculate Concepcion along La Purisima St. ang got away with cash and valuables last Friday morning.

A police report disclosed that the robbers opened the door of a Mitsubishi Adventure with plate number JBG 505 and took the handbag of Fe Saavedra Lee.

The theft was discovered around 9:45 a.m. and was reported to the police.

Police said the hand bag was discovered missing during an ocular investigation.

It was learned that the bag contained P20,000 in cash, agold bracelet, driver’s license, two cell phones, Samsung pad, red wallet, credit cards, coin purse and several other valuables.

Investigators and men from the Scene of the Crime Operatives lifted some fingerprints from the Adventure.

The robbery was carried out amid the presence of the policemen securing the cathedral. — Dan Toribio.
