Man hacked, wounded over P800 debt PDF Print E-mail

A 46-year-old man was hacked and seriously wounded over an P800 debt at Lemon Drive, Canelar Sunday morning.

Jimy Marcelo Gunaria, 46, married, sustained mutiple hack wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police identified the attacker as Maximo Montejo y Morillo, 52.

Investigation disclosed that Montejo confronted Gunaria over his debt amounting to  P800. During their confrontation, a heated argument ensued that led to the bloody attack.

Montejo grabbed a locally made samurai sword and attacked Gunaria.
