16 sachets of shabu seized in Lamitan raid PDF Print E-mail

Police on Tuesday raided two houses in Lamitan City where 16 plastic sachets of suspected shabu were seized and four suspects were arrested.

The raid was carried out around 11:30 at the houses of Sopiya Macrohon and Absel Macrohon at Sitio Santol, Brgy Bato on the strength of a search warrant.

The police raiding team also recovered several drug parapernalia and proceeds from drug peddling amounting to P2,615

Those arrested were Sidnizar Berong, 30, Joseph Morevilla, 31, Aldrin Sali,18, Basmar Macrohon, 22, all residents of Brgy Bato, Lamitan .

The raid was coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Lamitan City’s new police chief Sr. Insp. Gean Gallardo said since he assumed command of the Lamitan police office, he has waged an all-out war against prohibited drugs, particularly shabu. — Richard Falcatan
