3 Zamcelco impostors nabbed in entrapment PDF Print E-mail

Three alleged extortionists who pretended as Zamcelco personnel were arrested in an entrapment operation in Tetuan Wednesday afternoon.

Nabbed were Eron Fernandez Y Fransisco, Aldrin Felix Y Casimiro and Ladienir Sanson Y Oracion, all residents of Barangay Sangali. They were arrested along Estrada Street,Tetuan by men of the Tetuan Police Station led by Capt. Haywien Salvado.

Confiscated from their possession were P2,000 marked money, three cell phones  and a Honda XRM 125 motorcycle.

Investigation disclosed that on August 17 the electric connection at the apartment owned by Mr. Roy A. Ho along Don Alfaro St., Tetuan was cut by alleged Zamcelco personnel.

Then the three suspects called Mr. Ho, asking him to shell out P50,000 for the reconnection of his electric line.

Ho reported the matter to the Tetuan police station and an entrapment operation was set up that resulted in the arrest of Fernandez, Casimiro and Sanson.

The trio were turned over to the CIDG and were detained while appropriate charges have been readied against them. – Dan Toribio Jr.
