50 Zambo City policemen undergo random drug test PDF Print E-mail

Fifty policemen submitted themselves yesterday for drug test at the City Police Office.

No less than City Police Director Sr. Supt. Angelito Casimiro led the drug test. He was followed by 16 other police commissioned officers and 33 non-commissioned officers.

The activity was held in compliance with the program of random drug testing of the PNP national headquarters.

Personnel of the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory led by its officer-in-charge, Supt. Mercedes Diestro, conducted the drug test.

Based on a memorandum issued by Camp Crame, all policemen found positive of drug use will be sanctioned by facing administrative charges.

Policemen found positive of drug use can face summary dismissal.

The crime laboratory personnel conduct the drug test not only in the city,  but in all parts of Regional 9.

After the drug test at the city office yesterday, several other similar activities will be conducted in other local police stations.
