Motorcycle theft is alarming in Zamboanga City.

In just four days three motorcycles were stolen in separate incidents.

On August 29, radio reporter of Brigada News lost his motorcycle that was parked outside the radio station at Tomas Claudio St.

The Honda XRM Virgo E. Santa Cruz, a resident of Veterans Avenue, was discovered missing August 30  while parked in front of his shop along Veterans Avenue.

Investigation conducted by Police Station 11-11 disclosed that the wife of one of Santa Cruz’ employees saw a man wearing green shirt pushing the motorcycle from the shop then sped off.

Another motorcycle theft took place in the afternoon of August 31, 2014. Complainant Eris P Villarin, 21, single, of Pasay Road, Masi-ay Drive, Barangay San Roque, lost his motorcycle with Plate No. 5421-SB around around 3p.m. while parked outside the residence of his classmate Herman Benhur Fabian at Bouganvilla Drive, Barangay Guiwan, particularly fronting Guapitos’ Bakeshop near Guiwan Elementary School.
