2 gunmen flee with P100,000 in Dipolog heist PDF Print E-mail

Men of the Dipolog City Police Station are investigating a reported holdup staged the other night by two gunmen who got away with P100,000 belonging to employees of the Department of Public Works and Highway.

A police report disclosed that the heist happened near a bank in Barangay Estaka, Dipolog City,

Police said that Hadra Malon Y Salipahmad, 50, married, of 619 Gonzales St, Central Barangay and Michael Tizon Y Galleposo, 42, widower of Sitio Matunog, Gulayon, had withdrawn  P100,000 from the ATM machine of Development Bank of the Philippines, when two gunmen appeared and announced the heist while they were  leaving the place aboard a motorcycle.

Police said the holduppers grabbed the bag containing the money from the possession of Malon and both holduppers seized their Honda XRM motorcycle then sped away.

The motorcyclce was recovered along the national highway of Barangay Minaog, Dipolog City particularly near the old garage of Rural Transit of Mindanao around 8:15 p.m. of the same day. – Dan Toribio Jr.
