Can the Zamboanga City Jail accomodate all the persons arrested by law enforcers in drug buy-bust operations and raids almost daily.

Counting since last year, the number of drug suspects arrested could run to 100 up to 200. And putting all of these persons together with previous drug and other crime suspects into the local jail would make the place look like a big pig sty.

The latest drug bust on Tuesday night netted two drug pushers. Noel Gadem y Cruz, married of A&W Subdivision in Putik and Boyet Feliciano y Napalcruz, 34, of Boalan, were arrested by men of the Divisoria Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Erwin Abrasado in Putik-Tumaga Road.

Confiscated from them were a tricycle with plate number JV-8280, a Nokia cell phone, eight sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and marked money.

The duo were detained at the Divisoria Police Station.

Early this week, three other drug suspects were nabbed in Sto. Niño and Tumaga. — Dan Toribio Jr.
