“Our booth was very much appreciated by the crowd led by Gensan Mayor Ronnel Rovera himself and people there really took the opportunity to buy our products,” Go said. “A lot of people even took pictures for posterity,” she added.

She said the booth also played on 55” LED TV the city’s audio-visual presentation dubbed “Zoom-in Zamboanga” which captured the hearts of the patrons about the exotic beauty and tourism potentials of the city.

The investment team said they successfully showcased the city’s competitiveness in the business aspect. Despite the short notice of participation as booth exhibitor.

“We were able to establish linkages from the different investment officers who participated in the conference and to the entrepreneurs who joined the affair,” Fernandez said.

Conducted from Aug. 30 to Sept. 5, the 23rd MinBizCon Trade and Exhibit was joint effort of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the General Santos City and Sarangani Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
