A 27-year-old man was shot and wounded amid a fistfight at Sitio Siguinan, Barangay Bunguiao the other day.

Roberto Salazar y Antonio, 27, sustained a bullet wound on the left thigh.

Roel Hipolito y Manalo and Vilmor Manalo were drinking together unidentified companions around 4:50 p.m.

Edwin Tubil and Richard Ferrer passed by the area and Manalo allegedly uttered offensive words that resulted in a fight.

Salazar was passing by and tried to pacify the two parties, but Hipolito pulled out a gun that accidentally went off hitting the former on the left thigh.

Salazar was rushed to the hospital while the four were arrested during a follow-up operation. —  Dan Toribio Jr.
