Baby boy dies, 4 injured as 2 motorbikes collide PDF Print E-mail

A three-month-old baby boy died while four others were slightly injured when two motorcycles collided in Pasobolong last Sunday night.

A police report said the road accident took place at Zone 1, Pasobolong around 6:40 p.m.

Police said a Honda XRM 125 motorcycle with 092802 temporary plate number driven by Jhayden Limen Enopia, 22, a construction worker and a resident of Salaan, was accidentally hit by another motorcycle, a Honda Wave 100, driven by Richard Ferrer Gaspar, 31, married, a security guard and a resident of Lumayang.

Aboard Gaspar’s motorcycle  were two backriders identified as Marvin and Aylen Tayco who were bringing a three-month old baby when the accident.

Investigators said that both motorcycles were traveling from Sitio Vista Alegre in Tolosa, on their way to the city proper.

Upon reaching Zone 1 in Pasobolong, Gaspar overtook Enopia without proper signal resulting in a collision.

Both motorcycles crashed and those aboard were thrown off including the baby boy, who was rushed to the Mindanao Central Sanitarium Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Both motorcycles were taken to Police Station 4 in Culianan for further investigation. – Dan Toribio Jr.
