Filipina runs away with Arab’s money, valuables PDF Print E-mail

An Arab national from Dubai lost his money and other valuables to his Filipina fiancée in Dapitan City the other day.

The victim was identified as Mohamad Abdulla Alnaqbi, 53, widower, a resident of Dibba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and a retired colonel of the United Arab Emirates Army.

Police said Alicia Enciso, 36, a widow, of Nasipit, Agusan Del Norte. ran away with Alnagbi’s black president diplomat bag containing a Samsung digital camera worth P205,000, Samsung Galaxy 5 cell phone worth P 33,000, P385,000 in cash,  Immigration Identification Card, International Driver’s License, Visa Card and International Link ATM Cards.

Investigation disclosed that Alnaqbi arrived on August 16 for a vacation in Manila, where he stayed for 10 days before proceeding to Cebu City to meet Enciso.

They stayed at Waterfront Hotel for nine days and then proceeded to Dumaguete City where they stayed at Anicom Hotel for five days.

On September 13, around 4:00 a.m. they departed for Dapitan City and then proceeded to Cagayan de Oro City onboard Rural Transit bus

In Cagayan de Oro, they stayed at President Hotel and on September 28, 2014, they went back to Dapitan City aboard a Rural Transit bus.

When they arrived at Brgy Polo, Dapitan City, they proceeded to Erlinda’s Mini Bar along Sunset Boulevard,

While they were at the bar, Enciso left Alnagbi to look for a hotel bringing his black president diplomat bag containing the money and the valuables. She promised to return immediately.

The Arab national waited for three hours, but Enciso did not return until he decided to report the matter to the police. — Dan Toribio Jr.
