Another alleged drug pusher-user was arrested in a buy-bust operation carried out by men of the Sangali Police Station at Sitio Siguinan, Barangay Bunguiao Tuesday morning.

Arrested was Aldrin Timpangco y Atilano, 32, of Sangali.

According to Sangali Police Station chief Sr. Insp. Joel Tuttuh, his men confiscated from Timpangco’s possession two  heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected shabu, one rolled strip of aluminum foil and three P100 bills that were used as marked money in the buy-bust operation.

In an interview, Timpangco denied yesterday that he is involved in the selling of shabu in the area, thjough  he admitted that he is using it whenever he had to work overtime in a newly constructed building in Barangay Tetuan

“Hindi ako nagbebenta ng droga, meron lang nagdadala at nagde-deliver sa akin sa bahay”, he said.

Moreover Timpagco swore that during the operation he did not possess any of the confiscated items as what the arresting officers claimed.

Tuttuh said it is the usual alibi given by drug suspects in previous drug cases. — Kikay Taola
