A 23-year-old man was shot and wounded in Cabato Road, Tetuan at dawn yesterday.

Wounded was Joey Tiblante y Santos, married, of Feliciano Drive, Tetuan. He sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said Tiblante and friend Ariel Enriquez went to Cabato Road, Tetuan, around 2:15 a.m. to fetch the latter’s wife named May Tag-at. When they arrived at the place, Tiblante stood along a road corner near Grace Store where  two unidentified persons appeared and one of them shot him several times.

The assailants sped away aboard an XRM motorcycle.

Recovered at the crime scene were five spent shells of .45 caliber pistol.
