PRO-9’s medical team sets two outreach missions PDF Print E-mail

The Health Service Division of the Police Regional Office-9 will conduct free medical-dental  outreach missions at the city jail  on Saturday and at the San Ramon Prison and Penal Colony on Monday.

Chief Insp. Dionesio  Mecaydor said the free medical-dental outreach missions were requested  by the two offices intended to check the physical conditions of detainees and prisoners and to conduct minor operations such as tooth extraction and other medical services.

Supt. Abita Mates, chief,  9th Regional Health Service,  who will lead the medical team,  said the two free medical – outreach missions were approved by PRO-9 Director Chief Supt. Edgar O. Basbas.

Mates said her division continues to serve the people thru free medical-dental outreach missions not only for Police Regional Office 9 personnel and their dependents, but for people from all walks of life, the less fortunate and  for those in remote areas in the region. The missions are carriedout  in partnership with private medical practioners, medical associations, dentist associations,  medical team of the Armed Forces of the Philippines like the Philippien Air Force, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and Philippine Marines. — Allen Abastillas
