Two women were arrested and detained after they allegedly sold a 16-year-old girl to men for sex services.

A police report disclosed that around 12 noon last Wednesday, a 47-year-old mother of Sta. Catalina appeared at the central police station and asked the police to arrest her sister-in-law identified as Elizabeth Fernandez y Villanueva and her companion Marissa Geduguio y Caro for selling her daughter to different persons in an exchange of sex services.

The complainant told the police that the first incident took place sometime in December 2010 and the last occasion was on May 21, 2011 around 9 a.m.

She said that Fernandez and Geduguio offered her daughter to men wanting sex.
The mother said when he learned of the incident, she rushed to the police station to file a complaint against the suspects.

Police conducted a follow-up operation that resulted in the arrest of Fernandez and Geduguio.
The suspects were detained at the police station for filing of charges in court against them.
