Gun violence continued in Basilan with a rubber farm tapper as the latest victim.

Killed yesterday in a broad daylight attack was Ricardo Cruz y Abayun, 63, and a resident of Home lot, Barangay Baluno, Isabela City

Police said Cruz was shot several times by gunmen around 4 p.m. while he was driving his Honda XRM motorcycle. He suffered gunshot wounds in the different parts of the body and died on the spot. The killers took Cruz’ motorcycle and escaped after the attack.

Recovered at the scene of attack in Block 25, Baluno were seven empty shells and one slug of. 45 cal. pistol
