The Sta. Maria police station have readied charges against two men who were arrested for illegally selling diesel and gasoline in Pasonanca.

A police report identified those facing charges as Geronimo Cunanan y Monopolio, 58, married, salesman of petroleum situated at Km. 4, Pasonanca and a resident of Tugbungan, and Eddie Grio y Gacal, 43, married, caretaker of the company and a resident of Pasonanca.

Police said both were arrested for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1865. Confiscated from their possession were one empty gallon, two gallons filled with gasoline, one pail containing gasoline, three small empty containers, two bottles containing gasoline, one empty Coca cola bottle, improvised embudo, one big plastic pitcher, four steel drums containing gasoline, one empty drum, one plastic pack containing P410 in cash.

Cunanan and Grio were detained at the Sta. Maria Police Station while the seized items were turned over to investigators to the case. – Dan Toribio Jr.
