Pusher nabbed, pal escapes in drug bust PDF Print E-mail

An alleged notorious shabu pusher was arrested while his cohort eluded arrest during a buy-bust operation at Purok 2, Sinunuc last Monday afternoon.

Arrested was Kerwin Abdilla y Mohammad, 30. His companion Ryan Roxas escaped.

Confiscated from Abdilla’s possession were a pouch containing big sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.

A police report disclosed that men of the Sinunuc Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Hingming Ladjaali conducted a buy-bust operation around 1:30 p.m. against Abdilla and Roxas. After the marked money and shabu changed hands, Roxas sensed that the transaction was a buy-bust operation which [prompted him to run away with the marked money.

Abdilla was detained at the Sinunuc Police Station while the seized item was forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Meanwhile, men of the Sangali Police Station arrested fouir men who were caught in a shabu session at a videoke bar at Sitio Malasugat, Sangali, the other day.

Nabbed were Nolan Aramal y Natividad, 29; Michael Felix y Hipolito, 28; Bernabe Ibañez y Evangelista, 23; and Robert Resurrecion y Enriquez, 43, all residents of Bunguiao.

Policemen led by Sr. Insp. Joel Tuttuh confiscated from their possession two heat sealed sachets of suspected Shabu and several drug paraphernalia. – Dan Toribio Jr.
