HPG-9 seizes Isuzu wagon PDF Print E-mail

Operatives of the Highway Patrol Group-9 recently seized along Gov. Camins Avenue a white Isuzu wagon with plate number WGP-622as they implement Republic Act No. 6539 otherwise known as the anti-carnapping act of 1972, and other similar laws.

SPO2 Vincent Parame together with PO3 Ryan Eduardo Maron, PO2 Joemar Lacastesantos and PO1 Janryl Nino Licomon, reported to HPG-9 Chief Sr. Supt. Romeo R.  Uy that they spotted the Isuzu wagon while on a mission to implement RA. No. 6539. The driver of the vehicle can not produce original certificate of registration of the wagon.

Sr. Supt. Uy directed SPO2 Parameto impound the wagon temporarily and directed him to coordinate with the Police Regional Office 9 Crime Laboratory for the conduct of macro-etching examination to determine the original number of the chassis and engine number and conduct further investigation as to the real owner of the wagon. — Allen Abastillas
