A man was killed in another gun violence in drug-infested Recodo Saturday night.

Arthur Sevilla y Araji, sustained four bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

Initial investigation disclosed that Sevilla was walking on his way home around 11:25 p.m. when three men blocked his path and one of them shot him several times at close range.

The gunman and his two cohorts escaped after the killing.

Recovered from crime scene were six empty shells, two live bullets and one deformed slug of .45 caliber pistol.

Several persons have been shot and killed in Recodo, acknowledged as the city’s most notorious barangay for drug peddling. The drug problem persists in that barangay despite several police operations against pushers.

No less Mayor Beng Climaco had earlier ordered the police crackdown on Recodo drug pushers.
