Injured K9 handler receives another P50K from ZCCCFI PDF Print E-mail

Community support is on the roll for K9 Handler PO2 Franklin Manuel Ined, who was injured in the November 9 bomb blasts along Tomas Claudio St., this city.

Seen as a modern day hero by peace loving people of Zamboanga City, Ined  has gained sympathy and support as of late.

The Zamboanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc. headed by its President Mr. Edwin To with Mr. Pocholo Soliven is the latest business group to donate P50,000 in support of the ZCPO EOD K9 handler The check was personally handed over to the victim in his hospital room by ZCCIFI officials as witnessed by City Police Director Sr. Supt. Angelito Casimito

Meanwhile, Soliven said “that the gesture of support is a message that the we are sending to policemen who are the one’s responsible in the internal security of the city that they are not alone in line with their duty to defend and secure the city and that we are here to support them and we are in this together” as he promised that the ZCCIFI will provide more support for PO2 Franklin Ined including possible special discounted rate in his hospitalization.

Casimiro for his part said that he can never thank those who are supporting and continue to support the ZCPO enough, especially when there are police officers who are wounded or God forbids killed in line of duty and promised to work harder together with the rest of the City’s Finest to be worthy of the trust and confidence of the community. — ABM
