The City Government will spearhead activities to commemorate the 11th death anniversary of the late Mayor Maria Clara “Caling” Lobregat on Thursday, January 2.

The commemoration will kick off with a mass at the Pasonanca Parish Church at 4pm to be followed by a short but meaningful program at the Jardin Maria Clara also in Pasonanca.

A wreath laying ceremony will mark the start of the program to be spearheaded by Mayor Beng Climaco and Cong. Celso Lobregat, eldest son of the late Mam Caling.

Highlight of the activity will be the song tribute by three popular chorales in the city- the WMSU grand chorale, Zamboanga City State Polytechnic College (ZCSPC) Cantamos Chorale and the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) Coro Simponica.
