A motorcyclist was arrested after he resisted arrest by policemen who held him for common traffic violations at a checkpoint in Sinunuc the other night.

Sinunuc Police Station commander Sr. Insp. Hingming Ladjaali disclosed that his men led by Insp. Yasher A. Sarikin were conducting a checkpoint along the highway around 9 p.m. when Leopoldo Carlito Jr. y Dalgontas, 48, married with two backriders aboard a Kawasaki Rouser breezed in.

Policemen called their attention after they were seen wearing no motorcycle helmets.

However Carlito who was drunk behaved arrogantly and yelled at the policemen while refusing to surrender his driver license. At this point, policemen took him to the Sinunuc Police Station where he continued his arrogant behavior.

Carlito was brought to the hospital for alcohol test and was found positive
