The “war” against shabu continues as six more persons were arrested in fresh separate police operations.

Bruce Apostol y Genito, 24, of Camino Nuevo, was nabbed by Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Perez Solon yesterday.

A police report disclosed that Solon and his men had been conducting surveillances on Apostol until it was confirmed that he was selling shabu to some drug users.

Solon and his men launched a buy bust yesterday and arrested Apostol  after he handed a sachet of shabu to the police poseur buyer in exchange of marked money.

When police collared Apostol, they recovered 30 more different sizes of sachets containing shabu and P1,200 in cash believed to proceeds from shabu peddling.

Allan Custodio, 24, of Tulungatung was arrested by men of the Ayala police station. Confiscated from his possession was a sachet of shabu, one stick pack with shabu residues, drug paraphernalia and P200 marked money.

Marvie Abiding y Yusop, 28, also of Tulungatung, was nabbed by the same team. Seized from his possession were two sachets of shabu, P200 marked money, drug paraphernalia and another P300 in cash.

Ariel Secretariat y Brass, 24, of Bolong was nabbed by men of the Sangali police station. Seized from his possession was a sachet of shabu and P300 marked money.

Mercia Sulaiman, 46, and Alnimal Sulaiman, 27, of Recodo were nabbed by men of the Ayala police station. Confiscated from their possession were three sachets of shabu, P300 marked money and drug paraphernalia. — Dan Toribio
