Woman, 2 kids rescued from hubby’s drug den PDF Print E-mail

Men of Police Station 8 based in Sinunuc led by Sr. Insp. Hingming Ladjaali and officials of Barangay Calarian led by Chairman Elking Omaga rescued yesterday morning a woman and her two children from their house where her husband and some companions had been using as a drug den.

Ladjaali said the rescue operation was carried out around 11 a.m. at Purok 10, Southcom Village, Calarian in which Ailyn Sanson and her two children ages 11 months and two yeare old were taken.

It was learned that aside from smoking shabu, Sanson’s husband Hamid Israel had been maltreating her.

However, during the police operation, Israel, his relative Mohammad Israel and some companions eluded arrest.

Sanson and her two kids were brought to the Sinunuc Police Station for temporary shelter and were scheduled to be turned over to a governmnet agency for proper action.
