Police recovered three construction workers one hour after they abducted by suspected Abu Sayyaf gunmen at the remote town of Akbar, Basilan Thursday morning.

Police said the three victims were drivers of two dump trucks owned by Muctar Muarip, owner of C and J Construction.

They were snatched around 8 a.m. by gunmen led by Commander Bullet, who brought them to an unknown location. A hour later the three were rescued.

No details were available on how the rescue was made.
