The son of former city councilor Cesar Jimenez and three other persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Ayala yesterday afternoon.

DZT gathered that agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency staged a buy-bust operation resulting in the arrest of Cesar Jimenez, III, 36, married, of Ayala, Rogelio Bucoy, Michael Teodoro and Agusto Amores.

PDEA agents recovered four sachets of suspected shabu and a .45 caliber pistol from the possession of the four suspects.

The amount of P2,000 was used as marked money in the drug buy-bust operation.

The four  were arrested at a place called Carmen in Ayala.

It was learned that Bucoy sold a sachet of shabu to a PDEA undercover agent during the arrest inside the former’s house. Jimenez was reported caught inside Bucoy’s house while the two others were arrested after they tried to run away.

Those arrested as well as the recovered items were brought to the PDEA headquarters for the filing of charges in court.

DZT tried to get an official report from PDEA but, no one was available to talk to media. — Dan Toribio
