2 arrested at checkpoint for shabu possession PDF Print E-mail

Two persons were arrested at a police checkpoint in Labuan for possession of shabu last Tuesday night.

Nabbed were Jimar Rajam Pulalon, 20, and Glenn Tabotabo Mira 34, both of Ayala.

A police report disclosed that men of the Labuan Police station led by Sr. Insp. Chester Natividad were manning a checkpoint in anticipation of the a peace caravan by civil society groups and MILF supporters pushing for the passage of the Bangsamoro Basic Law around 830 p.m. when Pulalon and Mira came by aboard a motorcycle. Upon inspection, police recovered from their possession two medium size sachets containing shabu concealed in their crash helmet.

The suspects were detained st the police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9the PNP Crime laboratory for examination. — Dan Toribio
